I am excited to be working with a well–established foodservice client in Nottingham, who hold an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager! If you have experience in the foodservice industry, are a sales focused individual and looking for your next opportunity, this is not one to miss!

JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager
SALARY: Competitive (dependent on experience) +BONUS
LOCATION: Nottingham (field based)
HOURS: 45 hours (Monday – Friday)

THE ROLE:
" To attract core new business, both from a directory of potential customers and from your own initiative.
" Maintaining good relations with customers
" Take great control and ownership of the Nottingham field base, managing existing business and developing new business
" Explore and create new business through effective sales analysis
" Achieve sales and service level targets
" Continuously keep yourself up to date with product development and information, market trends and competition and always aim for maximum profitability

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED:
" Prior experience working in a field–based sales role
" A good understanding of the foodservice sector, and proven sales experience
" Great product and customer knowledge
" An effective and strong communicator
" IT literate
