Finance Manager
Barrow in Furness– (Hybrid Working)

As our Finance Manager we will look to you to manage day–to–day head office accounting functions, provide financial leadership to the business and clear structure and direction to the finance team. You will produce insightful monthly management accounts, accurate P&L and cash flow budgets and forecasts and promote streamlined processes with a strong internal control environment and develop a strong performing team.
Your principal accountabilities will include budgeting and forecasting, business partnering, process development, documentation and systems ownership along with team management and development.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
– You will be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience with a hands on approach and the ability to work within a small but multi–disciplinary team
– Experience of working for head office is a plus
– Good experience in managing teams
– Able to demonstrate a strong background in financial management, systems & process development
– Flexible approach combined with attention to detail and an excellent work ethic
– Strong communication skills
– Excellent excel skills
– Good team player who is willing to learn and develop with the role, on new assignments as they arise
