Description

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role in running the finance department. Reporting to the CFO, This role will suit you if you are still hands on and able to jump in to support the team, whilst balancing people leadership duties.

No two days are ever the same at my client, so what you'll be up to will vary. The speed they move at also means priorities will change and you'll need to be comfortable with this. But these are the things that will be central to your role and will keep you busy:

  • Responsible for the delivery of management accounting, reporting, financial analysis, VAT and payroll reporting
  • You'll work closely with the FP&A manager, providing actuals in a timely fashion and helping their understanding of the causes of variances.
  • Supporting the CFO with ad–hoc projects (such as commercial deals or sales) and in the leadership and development of the finance team
  • Partnering with the commercial teams to support them in pricing, and in how to deliver billing for new projects or price structure changes.
  • You'll be the key liaison with third party advisors such as tax advisors and auditors

Profile

You should apply if you:

? Are a Qualified accountant with management experience, with at least 6 years PQE and can demonstrate sound technical understanding of financial standards (IFRS)? Proven experience of leading a team and you can demonstrate hiring, nurturing and development of your team? Are a hands–on team player, used to jumping in to support team members actively should they need it? Have experience of some form of corporate transaction involving diligence (sale, IPO, debt raise)? Have experience of high volume products and billing
