  • Responsibility for the collation and review of elements of the Group's internal and external reporting.
  • Preparation of the monthly accounting for certain other small head office companies, statutory accounts preparation, and other accounting support into the Group Finance team.

Description
  • Responsible for business partnering the IT team to manage this cost base.
  • The role will perform multiple daily tasks, including key reconciliations, purchase order approval, payment run approval, cash book postings, and supporting IT capital expenditure recharges to divisions.
  • Production of the monthly management accounts and for the upload to the group consolidation system.
  • A key responsibility is the continual monitoring of actual performance vs. budget, including detailed forecast reviews, and to be able to clearly communicate this information to the Group Head of IT.
  • Identification of issues as they arise and proactively anticipate potential risks and opportunities and communicate these to management in a timely manner.
  • The role will assess accounting considerations of new or potential contracts or transactions.

Profile
  • qualified accountant with some industry experience preferred.
  • Strong IT skills, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and accounting systems experience.
  • Experience of using a ledger accounting system would be a particular advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to consistently produce reports that are free of error.

Job Offer

£325 per day 6 months
