We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a well–established and highly reputable business based in Colchester. You will be a qualified Accountant with proficient experience within financial procedures, policies and systems. Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership and management of the Accounts department ensuring all professional development needs are met
- Responsible for ERP system implementation
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems, ensuring daily process tasks are completed and integrity of data is maintained
- Maintain the company s Fixed Asset register
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts monthly
- Complete VAT returns and manage payments in line with legal requirements
- Complete closure of all ledgers and reconciliations in line with monthly reporting timetable
- Prepare, interpret and distribute accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
- Prepare and complete year end procedures on the financial system and provide advice for housekeeping procedures
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends, analyse changes and advise accordingly
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing would be preferred
- Ability to partner and support with changes to process and ways of working
- Excellent communication and IT skills
