GBP50–55+ per hour

Panoramic Associates are excited to be working with a large legal team within a Local Authority based in the London, who are looking for an experienced Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join them for an initial 6 months contract. This role will involve acting as a senior lawyer within the commercial team, supporting other members within the contracts team.
It is desirable that the successful candidate work on a hybrid basis in this position, with the majority of the role being done remotely, with occasional attendance to the office for team meetings potentially being required due to the supervision aspects of the role. The local authority is also happy to consider options on a completely remote working basis.
The role will involve providing support to the manager of the contracts and procurement team. You will also be involved in advising on complex commercial matters & providing advice to the rest of the team when required.
Essential criteria:
A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, alternatively, non–qualified Lawyers with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
Good practical knowledge of Commercial Contracts and Procurement practices in Local Government including dealing with the drafting and negotiations of commercial contracts to include IT contracts.
