Head of Learning and Development

A large organisation based in Hampshire are looking for a Head of Learning & Development to join their HR team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the HR Director and following strong organic growth our client is looking to strength their people offering with a new Head of Learning and Development, initial focus will be the UK with international scope.

What will the role involve?

• Work with the UK MD and senior stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative Learning and development strategy;
• Drive a culture of continuous professional development across the business;
• Identify and customise specific learning programmes across the business;
• Create and develop a centralised induction program;
• Integrate the L&D development programme within the performance management process to support business objectives;
• Oversee the annual L&D programme for all employees;
• Lead L&D projects and drive the strategy with the HR Director, collaborating with all specialist department within HR;
• Manage HR generalist projects.

Suitable Candidate:

• Experience in a senior level role in a complex organisation, with exposure to managing Learning and development at an operational and strategic level;
• Strong commerciality with ability to think strategically and independently;
• Relevant experience in leading and supporting companywide change projects is desirable;
• Financial Services experience would be beneficial.

Additional benefits and information:

• Hybrid working, likely to be 3 days in the office, some travel required between offices.
