Finance Manager

Reed Finance are pleased to be working with a large business based in Chelmsford who are looking for a Finance Manager to join the business. The organisation has an international footprint and are renowned in their respective field.

This role will oversee the finance function for the Chelmsford site and will work closely with senior management to provide financial support to the business, whilst identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure the continued success of the organisation.

A few key responsibilities include:

• Manage the accounting and business–related support functions; including the preparation, monitoring and revision of monthly financial statements, cash flow forecast and annual budgets.
• Be the key contact for external providers including external accountants, providing monthly financial statements, year–end audited financial statements, income and payroll tax filings, and other regulatory filings as required.
• Monitor, track and report project accounting for compliance with policy; including project labour cost tracking, revenue recognition, and variance analysis against project budgets
• Provides statistical data and charts mapping sales and business volume trends with time, technical area and market segment

A few requirements in order to be considered:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Ideally 5+ years PQE
• Experience within project accounting would be hugely beneficial
• Staff management experience
