Head of Brand Design
Location: Accrington
We are looking for an ambitious creative to manage key brand design and contribute to a growing creative studio. The main objective will be to manage the company Brands and Products in their target sectors, focussing on communications including PR & website, events, and marketing materials. You will also own projects relating to CSR, CRM and social.
You will be reporting to the Marketing Director of a large product and sales led global business, therefore coming from a product led B–B environment is highly desired.
The skills necessary for the role includes capturing marketing insights, connecting with customers, building strong brands, shaping the market offerings, delivering and communicating value, creating long–term growth, and developing marketing strategies and plans with the Marketing Director.
The Head of Brand Design will involve:
Conceptualise and offer on–brand design solutions with innovation across formats, platforms and environments
Work closely with the creative leaders to implement visual execution to the highest standards, pushing boundaries and positioning the brand as a major global player
Presenting and communicating concepts, design strategies to higher management
Improve and develop consistency throughout existing brand touchpoints, guidelines or experiences to create a cohesive customer experience, increase engagement and achieve brand KPIs
Support the day–to–day running of the creative studio
Building and maintaining creative templates and libraries
Undertaking competitor research, staying informed of current trends across retail, brand and digital and sharing updates with the creative studio
Helping to build customer engagement through testing, development and refinement of our creative strategy
Work alongside the Marketing Manager to implement robust work processes and ensure work flows through the studio efficiently
Experience required for our Head of Brand Design role
Experience in a senior Brand Design role, with a portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, high creative standards
Experience in managing creative members of the team and workflow / process
Enthusiastic and collaborative
The ability to impart your own creative ideas with our brands and produce designs that are on–brand, yet still fresh and conceptual
Commercially aware and astute
An ideas person with an open mind and the curiosity to pursue them
You will manage, prioritise and deliver your projects efficiently with the ability to be reactive to business needs as necessary
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Excellent attention to detail and understanding of the relationship between brand strategy and design
