Contract Control Systems Engineer - Simulink

Redline Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Contract Control Systems Engineer – Simulink, to join an innovative company based in Essex. The company's aim is to make the world a greener place. This is initially a 12 month contract, although it is likely that this will be extended further.

They are looking for a Control Systems Engineer – Simulink to come in and take full ownership of the entire systems process. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive development within the company and as this is a very collaborative role; you will be required you to work across multiple divisions. This is a perfect hands–on role for an engineer who enjoys designing and implementing control software and simulation models. The role will involve low voltage architecture (24V), ad–hoc testing and you will have full ownership of finding the root cause of any potential issues or problems.

Key Skills required for the Contract Control Systems Engineer – Simulink – Essex:
– Experience in Automotive Systems Design
– Simulink Experience
– ECU (Engine Control Unit) & Microcontroller Experience
– ISO26262 (nice to have but not essential)

As our client is considered exempt for IR35 purposes, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing IR35 status.
