Senior Fund Accountant - Real Estate. OUR CLIENT is a very successful, international real estate investment and asset management firm with £billions of assets across the UK and Europe under management. Due to further growth, they are currently looking for a Senior Fund Accountant (Senior Associate) to join their team at their London office.
THE ROLE reporting to the Director and Associate Director will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of SPVs and duties will include the below:

THE ROLE reporting to the Director and Associate Director will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of SPVs and duties will include the below:
- Reviewing third-party management accounts and requesting any amendments.
- Preparing commercial and GAPP adjustments for fund consolidations, cash flows, NAV reconciliations and distributions.
- Supporting transactions from a Fund perspective, fully understanding the tax structuring and mechanics of transactions, feeding into the SPA.
- Supporting the buy side or sell side due diligence, managing the completion mechanics, managing funds flows and integrating the acquisition into an existing structure or effectively accounting for a disposal.
- Working with tax advisors across a European portfolio and applying tax computations (incl. deferred tax) to the book-keeping, cash flow modelling and reporting of Funds.
- Managing audits, tax declarations and board meetings, organising resolutions and, where regulatory requirements in other jurisdictions are required.
- Managing the creation and liquidation of SPVs, feed into liquidity management and organising capital injections / repayments.
