Finance Business Partner (Manufacturing)
This role would suit an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant to provide financial management information Manufacturing & Supply Chain to drive efficiencies, promote best practice & assist decision making.
This company is a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer with a turnover of over £500m, with a global presence, 2000+ employees and with plans of a merger that will see them double in size.
The successful individual will be an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant with experience in a manufacturing/pharmaceutical or distribution environment. With strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate financial information to non-financial audiences with an appetite to influence at all levels. You will have a strong understanding of standard setting costing and build controls and processes from end-to-end working with production managers and reporting to the Head of Finance.
Job responsibilities:
Standard costing/BoMs - Annual Budget build & reporting/forecasting. Waste reporting (own and review) Inventory control - Audit & managing provisions in relation to released/held batches, slow moving & obsolete inventory, plasma ppv and quarterly inventory revaluationSupport Stock take annual audit Support manufacturing initiatives & process improvements Monthly P&L reporting & commentary of variances (additional COS) Participate in the MRB meeting, managing the inventory flow & mitigating riskDevelop robust process to track CCPL & its componentsDevelop operational BI reports to support decision making (inventory KPIs, waste, in process losses (supplier mitigation) Develop operational reports to aid decision making (inventory turnover, optimal stock, detailed shop order variances & waste) Enhance capability and track direct materials actual cost per litre monthly and recommend course of action to Operations BPs to find efficiencies and savings Business partner key operations cost centresEnhance and add more insight to standard cost reporting on a quarterly basis Support Commercial contribution reporting by identifying and reporting Fixed and Variable costing through std costing Full review of standards allocation in readiness for 2023 standards (labour/machine hours/depreciation/plasma)
