Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a manufacturer of embedded electronics, ruggedised hardware, communications systems, industrial computers, industrial racking, integrated systems, test equipment, monitoring systems, used in harsh environments within the Energy sector, including Wind, Renewables, Oil & Gas.
The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for targeting and growing a number of sectors within the Energy sector, including Wind, Renewables, Oil & Gas.
Experience selling similar equipment such as embedded electronics, ruggedised hardware, communications systems, industrial computers, industrial racking, integrated systems, test equipment, monitoring systems would be preferred, however knowledge of the industry is more important.
Package
GBP65,000 – GBP75,000 depending on experience
Car allowance
Commission based on % of profit – OTE 100,000+
Plus additional benefits
Role
Selling embedded electronics, ruggedized hardware, communications systems, industrial monitors, computers, wireless monitoring equipment, signalling products, test equipment used in harsh environments within the Energy sector, including Wind, Renewables, Oil & Gas.
Working from home, covering UK wide
New business development and account management
Reporting to the Sales Director
Engage in a balanced mix of opportunity nurturing and relationship building activities
Actively identify and engage in networking opportunities at industry events to meet
potential and targeted prospects
Working with the bid team, complete professional sales quotations/proposals
Work with the marketing team
Liaise with various engineering departments
Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Executive or similar
Proven sales experience within the Energy industry, in particular Wind, Oil & Gas, Renewables
Knowledge of embedded electronics, ruggedised hardware, communications systems, industrial computers, industrial racking, integrated systems, test equipment, monitoring systems would be beneficial but is essential to have experience selling into the Energy industry
Full UK driving license – willingness to cover UK
