Recruitment Business Partner
Starting Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Business Partner to ensure excellent customer service while ensuring the recruitment requirements of the client are met within the timescales requested or detailed within their client SLA.
This would mean joining our constantly evolving, dynamic and exciting team here in Walsall Town Centre.
The working hours of a Recruitment Business Partner are 9am – 5pm (Monday to Friday)
Rate of pay: GBP50,000 per annum + Performance related bonus
Recruitment Business Partner duties:
To ensure excellent customer service while ensuring the recruitment requirements of the client are met within the timescales requested or detailed within their client SLA.
To achieve all contractual client obligations ie. delivering social values, ethical recruitment and submitting KPI reports as required by the client.
To contribute meaningfully to the success of the MBC recompete and retain preferred supplier status.
To win a new MV contract by April 2024.
To ensure the profit for MV recruitment is at least GBP501,000 by March 2023.
To lead on improving team performance and productivity is at least industry average by April 2023 (15% margin)
To create exemplar agency status from April 2022, attaining a minimum of 80% satisfaction rate from participants.
Minimise off–contract spend and reduce the use of 2nd tier agencies to less than 50% by December 2022.
To be an approved 2nd tier supplier for other MV contracts by April 2022.
To ensure internal audit is 95% pass rate
To ensure growth and oversee the Commercial arm to drive profit forward
To help win sole supply business
Proffesional Responsibilies:
Be responsible for maintaining and improving client relationships, chairing monthly client engagement meetings and taking any actions as necessary to maintain a positive and progressive relationship.
Produce client reports as required, including agency spend reports.
Ensuring compliance with the Agency Worker Regulations 2010 and any other legislative requirements preventing potential violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
Keep up to date with industry best practice and rates matrices implementing and communicating changes as necessary.
Revising procedures, reports etc. periodically to ensure efficiencies are maximised at all times.
Keep up to date with client PAYE systems and processes, ensuring the effective management of the incremental progression pay rates of participants.
Keep applicant tracking and VMS systems up to date and ensure data is accurate.
Manage the tier 2 supply chain, implement targets and tiering to increase supply and financial efficiency.
Manage /Recruit a team of Resourcers/Consultants to improve starting point fills to at least 80%
Handle all complaints and escalations from Starting point clients
Present and promote the benefits of engaging with starting point to private and Government clients
Work with the Marketing Department to create a media strategy to promote Starting Point
Implement an after–care policy to ensure starting point candidates receive the highest professional support during placement
Improve the efficiency of the overall recruitment process.
To ensure targets and objectives are met as set by your Line Manager.
Create Monthly reports detailing progression and areas for improvement and Growth.
Work on ensuring the continuation of the MV contract and support to win further contracts.
Act as a soundboard for all managers queries and recruitment needs, presenting information and expertise withing the market.
Help and support the growth of Client base for Starting Point.
Manage and create resources such a job adverts, job boards and candidate engagement events.
Deliver exemplar status recruitment services to the Leadership Team when projects require.
Undertake other such duties as requested which are reasonable and appropriate to the role.
Location: Walsall Town Centre
Out of hours working may be required to meet the needs of the service. This may involve evening meetings and attendance of events at weekend.
This position will involve travelling to external organisations within the west Midlands. A car mileage payment scheme is in place.

Requirements for a Recruitment Business Partner:

Experience of working in a fast–paced office environment within a customer focussed role.
2.
Experience of maintaining excellent relationships with clients/customers.
3.
Experience of having worked within a recruitment environment.
4.
A working knowledge of employment legislation relevant to the recruitment industry.
5.
Confidence in the use of social media and management information systems.
6.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all level of an organisation with tact and diplomacy
8.
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to multiple deadlines
9.
An excellent standard of verbal communication
10.
To display strong motivational, customer service and organisational skills
11.
To be competent in the use of technology with excellent IT skills
