Role - Group Financial Accountant Location - Bury Salary - Up to £62,000 with additional benefits
Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a market-leading retail organisation in their search for a Group Financial Accountant to work out of their offices based in Bury
The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified and would ideally suit an individual looking to make their first or second move out of practice. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of consolidating accounts would be preferable. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working with IFRS accounting standards would be preferable. Key duties for the Group Financial Accountant role will involve:

- Statutory accounts production
- Lead on the IFRS 16 and IFRS 9 accounting at half and year end
- Preparation of supporting Board paper and subsequent presentation to the Audit Committee
- Key contact for auditors
- Help to prepare financial information for external announcements
- Balance sheet control
- Variance analysis
- Assist with development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
