The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for producing accurate, timely and quality accounting information, that provides insight and makes a difference to the profitability of the company, whilst also ensuring that Corporate and Statutory matters are appropriately controlled.

Description
The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for producing accurate, timely and quality accounting information, that provides insight and makes a difference to the profitability of the company, whilst also ensuring that Corporate and Statutory matters are appropriately controlled.
Management Accounting
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with revenue recognition policies and applicable accounting standards
- Preparation of monthly divisional management accountants
- Provide variance analysis and commentary
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the consolidation of the group
- Preparation of project and customer profitability reports
- Involved with the annual forecasts and budget preparation
- Maintain fixed asset register
Financial Accounting and Statutory Matters
- Provide support in the preparation of annual financial statements
- Support the FC in preparation of consolidation
- Provide technical accounting expertise on various matters including revenue recognition etc.
- To be the key interface point with the company auditors
- Responsibility for Taxation including the filing of PAYE and VAT returns as well as Corporation Tax matters
Other
- Assist in M&A activity
- Engage with PE owner on reporting requirements and queries
- Company payroll
- Administration and control of sales commission payments
- Effective liaison with directors/managers responsible for Sales, Product and Operations area
Profile
The successful Senior Management Accountant will have the following credentials:
Qualifications and Experience -
- Qualified accountant, ACCA/CIMA likely with c 2-3 years post qualification experience
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP, particularly around revenue recognition
- Having experience of working in an IT/ Telco/PE-backed industry desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively with the whole company i
- Ability to effectively lead, manage and develop team
