Interim Finance Manager (Bristol role)

3-6 month interim role (Hybrid finance contract) starting ASAP

Your new role
The purpose for this role is to ensure the accurate and timely monthly reporting and responsible for all assets are correctly registered and all Development WIP is correct. The role holder is to ensure that the Group meet their regulatory reporting to the FCA and Distinct payments plans and the relevant Trustee payments are correctly calculated

This position will be responsible for:

• Distinct the Holdings and its subsidiaries Monthly Reporting
• Group's different entities Balance sheet reconciliations and ensure monthly sign of from Financial Controller
• The Distinct payment plans and trustee payments are completed correctly and accurately and within the relevant regulations.
• FCA Regulation Returns and finance contact for any queries
• Working closely with the Development department in running a project by providing expenditure and WIP analysis and ensuring that the completed asset is capitalised correctly
• Group's CAPEX Register and the CAPEX tracker.
• Compile and introduce Internal controls and Procedures
• For the development and management of 1 direct report - Assistant Accountant
• Ad hoc duties as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with 2+ years PQE
• Management and Financial Accounting Experience
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proactive approach to problem solving
• Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• A 'can do' and flexible attitude
• Can work under pressure and strict deadlines
• Team player
