Interim Senior Financial Systems & Reporting Accountant

My client is a leading not–for–profit organisation seeking to bolster its finance team with an interim Financial Systems and Reporting Accountant on a 12–month fixed–term contract with an option of being extended for a further 12 months.

The main responsibilities of the interim Financial Systems and Reporting Accountant are:

• Work on system developments and enhancements to ensure accounting implications are dealt with and write up reports on the financial system.
• To be the key point of contact and liaison for the organisation with software suppliers and IT colleagues in relation to the financial systems.
• Develop budget and forecast environments on Business Central, to align the budget and forecasting tools developed.
• Devising management account reports and programme reports to senior stakeholders.

My client is looking for:

• Experience in using Business Central and extensive knowledge of using complex accounting systems is essential.
• Finance background with experience in successfully completing system upgrades.
• Excellent communication ability and the ability to build relationships.
• A minimum of four years experience in designing complex modelling tools, troubleshooting and embedding financial systems.

My client can offer fully remote working for the whole duration of the contract, they can also offer an opportunity to be extended for another 12 months.
