Lawyer
Our local authority client require an Lawyer to join them on a temporary basis To provide a professional advisory, litigation and advocacy service within an area of specialism. To manage a caseload of legal matters, and attend court, tribunal, or public enquiry to present the council s case.
Candidate Profile
Solicitor or Barrister and proven relevant experience of fee earning work
Knowledge of court and other procedures
Sound knowledge and understanding of the law within a specialist area(s).
An awareness of the importance of client care in a legal service
Experience of advocacy, drafting legal documents and researching the law
Ability to write clear/concise reports
Must be IT literate ? Excellent communication skills
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
