Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are pleased to be recruiting for a highly successful and reputable organisation in Welwyn Garden City who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager on a Permanent basis. This is a full–time, office–based role, managing a small and established Finance Team.

Your day–to–day responsibilities will include:

• Full responsibility of the monthly accounting and reporting cycle
• Preparation of full management accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting
• Supervising the transactional team; ensuring all invoices are processed and paid accurately, and that cash is allocated correctly
• Group consolidation and reporting into group function
• Year–end accounting
• Processing of Payroll
• Providing operational support through analysis and business partnering
• Development of new financial controls and ongoing improvement of processes

Skills and Attributes required:

• ACCA / CIMA Qualified (preferable)
• A minimum of 3 years recent experience in a similar accounting role
• Demonstrable people management skills
• Strong MS Excel skills (to include V–Lookups and Pivot Tables)
• A confident user of ERP Systems
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
