Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. This is an on–going temporary role, if successful could lead to a permanent role. Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, with an hour for lunch, making it a 28 hour week.
They are an expanding Hospitality & Retail organisation that builds important sales pipelines for their clients – they do this by arranging introductory meetings between clients and their prospective customers. It is at these intro meetings that clients then have an opportunity to demonstrate & sell their products/services.
All of their clients provide vital products and services to the hospitality & retail sectors (this includes restaurants, retail stores, pubs, hotels and leisure companies), from the biggest to the smallest. They require a constant flow of sales meetings and they use our client to source these for them.
They are now expanding the team as they continue to grow and add new clients. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager.
The role would entail cold–calling hospitality & retail businesses on a daily basis introducing them to clients solutions & services with a view to arranging meetings between them and their clients.
The majority of your time will be spent on the phone asking the right questions, unearthing opportunities and then arranging introductory meetings between clients and their perspective customers.
They will provide full training of clients products/services so that you can feel confident in sharing what they do.
They are looking for someone that has some previous experience in either telemarketing, telesales, BDM roles or cold–calling.
Business Development Manager duties to include:
Cold–calling from a Database of contacts
Sending emails to prospects
Networking via LinkedIn
Inputting call notes on CRM system (Salesforce)
Communicating updates to clients
Appointment Setting
