TristoneNash are pleased to be supporting a values–led Housing Association in South Wales to appoint an Environmental Sustainability Business Partner.
Reporting to and working closely with the Strategy, Performance and Risk Lead, you will be responsible for developing the delivery plan for environmental sustainability and performance reporting, raise colleague awareness and working with partners to share best practice.
This role will play a key role leading on the development of the delivery plan for the association s environmental sustainability strategic commitment through engagement with colleagues, to deliver best in class measurable performance and the right behaviours across the organisation.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for translating the environmental sustainability strategic commitment into a delivery plan that will deliver a targeted approach that is data led and environmentally driven informed through effective engagement with colleagues
Be responsible for colleague engagement in the formulation of the environmental sustainability including the establishment and servicing of a "colleague working group" to support this work
Be responsible for advising the leadership team and colleagues on developing and implementing the association s approach to sustainability and related matters
Provide professional and technical advice on environmental management and best practice to the leadership team, colleagues, partners and the community on a wide range of issues relating to contemporary approaches to climate change, sustainability and the environment
Be responsible for the development of the mechanism for monitoring progress against delivery plan activities
Support the development of appropriate and measurable KPIs and process for recording and reporting through quarterly performance reporting to leadership team and board.
Lead on developing the process and planning to ensure that a carbon assessment for the association is undertaken every 2 years
Be responsible for developing process for the periodical review of the association s commitment to environmental sustainability and the refreshing of the strategic commitment and delivery plan if required
Lead on the development of an environmental sustainability communication plan to support the delivery plan and raise awareness for both internal and external customers or stakeholders.
