Financial Controller

Our client, one of the fastest growing leisure and hospitality businesses around the UK are recruiting a Financial Controller to report to their Chief Financial Officer on all financial and accounting activities whilst overseeing the financial department team daily.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller

Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members
Key facilitator in driving performance across the business through the provision of financial and operational information
Instilling accountability and ownership of operational, business and financial targets across the business
Clear benchmarking of operational and financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement
Provide constructive challenges to other business areas in order to deliver improvement in performance

Key essentials of the Financial Controller

Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
Outstanding mathematical skills with proven excel macro skills
Management experience with strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with pace
