Hours – 37.5 hours per week
Salary – GBP32,992.00 with annual increments
Location – Hybrid working – a combination of home working and Together Trust Central Office in Cheadle, Stockport
Reporting to – Head of Business Development

Today we re one of the North West s leading disability charities. We help children, adults, parents and carers, delivering individual care, support and education to thousands of people each year.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to contribute directly to financial sustainability and business growth at Together Trust through the management of proposals, tenders, grant applications, and business cases, and the development of effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders including commissioners.
What can you bring to our team .?
We are seeking an individual at degree level or equivalent with substantial experience of Business Development in Children s Services or related markets, for example Adult Social Services, Health, Public Sector Contracting.
Are you experienced in preparing, managing and writing tenders, reports and/or funding applications as well project management and overseeing projects from start to completion?
Do you have experience of delivering presentations to internal/external audiences?
An essential aspect of this role is demonstrable experience in Business Development procedures, methods and techniques, working within a commercial environment and tender writing. You will need a strong command of both English and Maths in a commercial context.
Are you a persuasive communicator, able to express ideas with clarity verbally and in writing to a range of audiences – can you develop and maintain effective partnerships across different departments and teams?
We are looking for someone who has a focus on effective project planning and achieving deadlines, someone with a rigorous attention to detail and quality improvement of tenders/proposals.
