About You:
The new Housing Lawyer will be required to:
- Have sufficient experience in attending court, undertaking casework in relation to housing disrepair, anti-social behaviour, civil injunctions, possessions proceedings, homelessness matters as well as general housing advice
- Be available on no more than two weeks' notice, due to the urgent nature of the role
- Be a qualified barrister/solicitor/CILEX with a practising certificate
- Regulatory and committee experience
- Previous local government experience
- The pay rate ranges between £30-48 per hour depending on experience
- Contract based on an initial 3-month period
