Finance Director
Salary: £150,000 + £200,000
Location: Orpington
This Global Finance Director opportunity is with a global and world leading supplier of hand tools, diamond tools, safety products and workwear.
The intention is for the business to grow significantly internationally to double turnover to £120m within 3 to 5 years.
Highly innovative, and building on 48 years’ experience as the market leading provider in the sector, our client is a dynamic and fast growing enterprise.
The Finance Director role is pivotal. You will work closely with the CEO and Board to develop the strategic vision and direction and manage income and value drivers. The need for productivity is critical.
Your input as Finance Director and a member of the Board will be to keep firm control of cash, finances and reporting during a period of rapid international growth. You will demonstrate commercial acumen and drive change whilst providing alternative financing solutions to support business expansion.
Heading up the global finance team, your accounting and management skills and your experience of producing actionable information from a variety of sources will be crucial.
As the Finance Director you will:

23 days holiday plus bank holidays; increasing annually after 2 years to a maximum of 4 days

As the Finance Director you will:
- Hold a recognised CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent Have worked in a high growth international organisation including the USA Have mergers and acquisitions experience Have raised funds to support growth and managed funders Have worked in a senior financial role for at least 10 years requiring hands-on involvement in a Private Equity backed or large SME Have strong modelling skills
- Experience of working with engineering / manufacturing / project management / construction Experience in City and investor relations Experience of working with international regional offices
