The Role:

This opportunity for a Construction Solicitor NQ-3 years PQE to join the firms Edinburgh office presents itself due to the continued growth plans of the firm.

The work undertaken is unparalleled within the region, acting for well-known national and international companies, contractors and government entities on large-scale projects in sectors such as Energy, Transport and the Built Environment.

This role allows for diversification or specification of the sector or area within the Construction practice. The progression on offer is transparent from the onset with a Senior Associate title likely available around 5 years PQE.

Flexibility with regards to home working comes as standard, usually consisting of 2 days in the office per week. The wider salary and benefits are well above the market rate with a generous annual bonus available to all.

Requirements:
  • As a guide, this role would suit a Construction Lawyer between NQ - 3 years PQE
  • Experience gained in non-contentious construction, or a mix of contentious & non-contentious work
  • Relevant sector exposure (energy, transport, built environment) is advantageous but not essential
  • Comfortable with client contact and building relationships
