Programme Manager

Accountable for the day to day leadership and running of P&T Programmes :

Programme Management: Leading a large programme team to deliver complex change across a number of different projects and portfolios with stakeholder and customers across Business Units and Internationally
Senior Engagement: Able to represent all aspects of the Programme with senior management / Executives within EITS, Office of the CIO, Business Units and International customers
Delivery management: A strong technical, business and digital delivery management background with demonstrated ability at transformation level scale to plan and implement change in an agile fast–moving multi business and supplier environment.
Experienced in engaging and contracting with suppliers and then managing supplier project deliverables
A senior multi industry and consultant level accomplished individual who is well experienced in delivering through others, must have held Programme Director / Programme Manager roles previously: demonstrating ability to communicate, influence and gain agreement for ideas and proposals from a variety of stakeholders, including senior management and directors

Understanding and experience of how to deliver change into the business with appreciation of the importance and methods around Business Change & Transition
Experience of working and delivering across international boundaries and understanding of the challenges faced and how to overcome themThe objective of the role is to provide the necessary management, assurance and hands on delivery support across all new and inflight change initiatives within the P&T programmes.
It is essential the individual is high calibre and proven at dealing with ambiguity, driving change programmes and comfortable at operating at a fast cadence and naturally with conflicting work demands. The individual will need to engage and regular face off to C–Suite level stakeholders.
Knowledge of Export Control regulations and solutions would be an advantage

The role holder will:

Create an integrated view of the Programme and make decisions on: – Scheduling, delivery strategy, release strategy (colleague, customer and delivery lenses), Interventions (choices / solutions) to optimise delivery or manage risk
Provide visibility on health of individual initiatives (progress vs. milestones, risks, issues, change indicators, financials) and recommend course corrections
Facilitate deep dives on each of individual initiatives
Develop and promote best practice, common ways of working and build capability across the Transformation community
Ensure that the transformation is well communicated, consistently
Facilitate capacity planning and resourcing to optimise efficiency
Provide thought leadership to Transformation teams and Exec to support successful delivery
Provide an independent perspective on how to best optimise the Programme, Portfolio and individual initiatives e.g. interventions and issue resolution
Plan and lead Executive, Business and Customer Steering Groups
Lead and present at Major Contract Reviews and customer Contract Reviews
Possess proven references for Programme Director / Programme Manager level working experience of leading large transformations Programmes of work and scoping projects in the Initiation phase
Have demonstrable experience of working within a structured and well–governed IT Project environment
Have demonstrable evidence of delivering change to complex business processes
Have demonstrable evidence of driving business change
