The opportunity

Due to this sustained growth Ethical Power's legal team has an exciting opportunity for a corporate/commercial lawyer to assist with an increasingly demanding and diverse workload.

Working with the existing members of the legal team you will support day to day transactions and contract work across a broad spectrum, including development, construction and financing as well as corporate M&A work, commercial contracts and management of external international law firms. Emphasis for the role will be in supporting the business across all of its operational aspects, involving daily interface with senior members of the Ethical Power teams so as to deliver on our intense and ambitious project development, acquisition, financing and construction programme.

About you

You may currently be working in private practice or in-house and will be looking to make a change towards a fully engaged and immersive career in a fast growing renewable energy business. You will have had a good grounding in corporate and/or commercial transactional experience, with confident and balanced negotiation skills, well organised and managed due diligence investigation and reporting skills and above all a passion to fully integrate with the business.
