Head of Sustainability
Property Development and Construction Group
Based in Kent

A leading property development and construction group based in Kent are looking for a Head of Sustainability to join their Senior Management team. They are looking for someone to develop and lead their sustainability strategy across the group, to help them work towards a net zero business whilst also ensuring their homes are being built and delivered to a net zero standard.
About the company
The group provide a full range of services from construction through to the delivery of residential developments throughout Kent. They are entering an ambitious growth phase where they are looking to grow from a GBP130m business to a GBP250m business and expand further into the Southeast within the next 3–5 years.
They operate using an integrated delivery model, their internal constructions and groundworks business enables them to keep every part of the project in house maximising profits whilst still delivering high quality homes.
About the role
For this role they are looking for someone with experience writing policy and creating sustainability strategies, who can lead both their group policy and their site policy. They are looking for someone to lead their internal policy, overhaul their production process to improve the sustainability of their practices and carbon emissions / offset, whilst also helping them work towards their goal of delivering net zero carbon homes.
They are looking for someone who is truly passionate about sustainability, with a construction background and good residential experience.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and add real value to the company's net zero and ESG journey.
In this position you would report directly into the COO and would be given the opportunity to develop and put their stamp on the group's sustainability strategy for the future.
