FIND are a specialist recruitment business in the EdTech & Technology Learning sector.
We re currently recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager for a EdTech SaaS business who are dominating their vertical (Vocational Education)
The product is a fairly complex licence fee + subscription SaaS set up therefore we re keen to talk to Senior Sales individuals from a high–value SaaS & Technology Sales background. EdTech experience isn t needed.
The Role
As Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for managing the end to end sales cycle, from pipeline generation to contract negotiation, winning new contracts with large enterprises in the apprenticeship, skills and vocational education space.
Key accountabilities
Driving sales growth by meeting or exceeding targets – with contract values up to GBP1.5m
Developing strong relationships with key decision makers across a range of training providers; building your personal credibility with all stakeholders especially at senior (C–Level)
Producing and implementing sales plans to achieve continual business growth
Understanding our target clients business vision, strategy and priorities at Executive and operational levels
Contributing to and executing go–to–market strategies
Pursuing marketing qualified leads
Developing and managing responses to formal ITTs, RFPs, RFIs etc.
Commercial negotiation of service agreement terms
Actively managing a pipeline of leads and opportunities to successful conclusion
Committing to and delivering monthly forecasts for new business
Experience required:
5+ years experience in a client facing new business sales role; with experience selling complex technology into the C–suite. You will need to have experience of gaining entry to the CxO level and the gravitas to influence business leaders once you ve established the relationship
A demonstrable track record of sales success in multi–level complex commercial environments; preferably in a technology, SaaS or services oriented environment
Excellent influencing skills
Desirable – Understanding of education technology (EdTech) or the ability to quickly build this understanding
Benefits & perks
GBP60,000 – GBP75,000 basic salary + 30% Comms.
Hybrid working – 2 days a week in Bristol. (Negotiable for the right candidate)
25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), rising to 29 days
