Description
Leading a team of 2 and reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the Senior Finance Business Partner will:
- Act as the interface between Group Finance and the business unit translating financial information and analysis into something that can be understood and used by senior management in the decision-making process.
- Provide commercial support in terms of identifying opportunities to maximise profit. Contribute to pricing and margin decisions.
- Own the business planning cycle (forecasting, budgeting and mid-term planning), including developing and updating the financial planning model, identification of KPIs and key business drivers, risks, and upsides.
- Support, challenge, engage with and report on the business to improve the commercial effectiveness and success of the designated business unit.
- Work closely with senior management to understand the wider market and external factors that affect the company's performance.
- Build relationships with a variety of different people from across the organisation
Profile
The successful Senior Finance Business Partner will have the following credentials:
Degree educated with solid academic background
Professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong business facing, commercial background with a proven experience of business-partnering role, ideally at a complex multinational corporation
- Line management experience (typically including team strategy and development).
- Ability to articulate the story behind the numbers to senior management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes
- Experience within the SaaS/IT/Technology/Electronics sector ideal
- International experience and ability to work across culturally diverse groups, 2nd European language ideal
- Experience with Oracle and SAP ideal
Job Offer
Remuneration package for the successful Senior Finance Business Partner includes:
- Basic salary circa £70,000 - 80000 plus £6500 cash car allowance
- Bonus 20% (discretionary)
- Private pension

- Hybrid (50:50) working
