Interim General (Projects) Manager
Bradford, West Yorkshire
Outside IR35 – Ltd Co. suitable contract
GBP300 – GBP350 p/d DOE (3–6 months min.)
Our client:
I am recruiting for a key client in the Bradford/North Leeds/West Yorkshire area who are a leading UK Engineering manufacturing organisation of special purpose machinery into the FMCG, process and food industries. Their Operations cover technical sales, bespoke project management, procurement, design engineering, skilled manufacturing, service, and aftermarket.
The role:
They are looking for an Interim General Manager to support day to day operations and projects. Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Manging key capital engineered projects form cradle to grave
Ability to work accurately and flexibly within a projects team
Supporting & Liaising with all internal Engineered manufacturing and production
Communicating to key stakeholders internally and externally – customers, suppliers, senior management etc
Requesting quotations and expediting orders and requirements
Ensuring required project documentation to customer specification, working on MS Projects and MS Office
Ensuring commercials and delivery requirements are met, mitigating risk/ snagging issues etc
Creation of final documentation and handover pack
Person Specification:
Formal qualifications ideally min. ONC/HNC in engineering/manufacturing etc
Experience leading general operations in engineering manufacturing
Projects and production delivery experience
Project commercials and budget management experience
Strong people skills – natural leader and team player, who strives for excellence
Ideally experienced in SAGE, MS Office, MS Projects
