Group Tax Manager job, tax lead for this international FMCG business in central Manchester.
Your new company
This large, international FMCG business has a diversified portfolio of products, with a customer base spanning local SMEs to other multinational conglomerates. With an appetite to keep on growing they are well positioned in the market to capitalise on their existing client base.
Your new role
Reporting to the Group CFO and senior management team, you will be the key point of contact to lead on developing and executing the Group's Tax strategy. In addition you'll take on responsibility for all tax compliance, tax related financial reporting, management of tax risk and opportunities and provision of tax advice to the Group's operations. The role will also involve working closely with local finance teams and external tax advisors, Ensuring accurate and effective compliance and reporting processes are maintained and that all Transfer Pricing OECD requirements are complied with in each jurisdiction where the Group has a presence.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical understanding from completing your ACA and/or CTA qualifications and ideally good technical IFRS tax accounting knowledge. You will have experience working in international companies, alongside natural leadership qualities.
What you'll get in return
