Salary: £120,000 - £150,000
Location - Manchester/Leeds
This Finance Director opportunity is with a market leading and uniquely positioned fast growing product Supply Company. The intention is for the business to grow threefold to £100 million turnover within 5 years.
Highly innovative, and building on 14 years’ experience as the market disrupting provider in the sector, our client is a dynamic and fast growing enterprise and has averaged 25% year on year growth since 2015.
The Finance Director role is pivotal. You will work closely with the Managing Director and senior management team to define strategic vision and direction and manage income and value drivers. This will include managing strategic acquisition processes.
Your input as a Finance Director and member of the Board will be to keep firm control of cash, finances and reporting during a period of rapid growth. You will demonstrate commercial acumen and drive change whilst providing alternative financing solutions to support aggressive business expansion including acquisitions.
Heading up the finance team as Finance Director, your accounting and management skills and your experience of producing actionable information from a variety of sources will be crucial.
You will:
Office Location: Manchester or Leeds
Hybrid working available but regular visits to Manchester and/or Leeds required
In the event of a significant liquidity event there is the potential of phantom shares, or equivalent, for an exceptional contribution
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

You will:
- Hold a recognised CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent
- Have experience in an high growth importing and high transaction distribution business
- Worked in an high growth organisation that has set up new locations and in-sourcing processes
- Have raised funds, managed strategic acquisitions and managed funders
- Have worked with SMEs in the senior management team or an autonomous division of a larger company
- Have worked in a senior financial role (Finance Director or senior Financial Controller) for at least 3 years requiring hands-on involvement
- Experience in challenging the status quo
- Moving product and monies experience across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
