Head of Operations

The Reed Leadership Practice team has been instructed exclusively by a market leading ecommerce business services group on a Head of Operations position based in London.

Joining an aspiring business who have grown to revenues of GBP10m across 5 companies that are achieving 20% year on year growth. You shall become a key member of the leadership team. Working collaboratively with the CEO and Chief of Staff and other management.

You shall be responsible for all aspects of business operations across 2 offices within the UK, ensuring that each department is resourced appropriately and 1st class procedures are in place to ensure productivity. This role shall be customer centric, and the business pride themselves on having the highest standard in service delivery, whilst working closely with the SMT around business strategy and growth.

Your duties shall include:– Overseeing the Sales, Administration, and Fulfilment and manging the line managers– Taking ownership of reviewing and improving company wide procedures, ensuring they are appropriate as the business scales– Building a high performance culture, and ensuring staff are rewarded and valued– Implementing and maintaining appropriate KPI, metrics and reporting targets for teams– Working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership team around growth, strategy and any potential acquisitions– System improvement – taking a lead role in identifying any ways to automate processes– Taking a key role in ensuring 1st class customer service and testimonials– Core aspect of the role shall evolve around the operational effectiveness of recruitment, staff retention etc

To be considered for this role you shall be:– An experienced Head of Operations, Operations Director or Chief Operating Officer– A proven track record of managing and developing teams– Experience within an Ecommerce Services, SaaS, or Corporate Services business– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal– Strong academic record (Preferably with an MBA or Masters), with a minimum of 5 years management experience– A desire to drive business growth, and take an energetic lead part in formulating business strategy
