Accountancy Recruit is partnering an established, growing business in South Manchester to recruit a Financial Controller. This role would suit an FC, Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant ready for a number one role in finance within a growing SME. The Financial Controller will work in a hands on capacity and have the following responsibilities:

- Oversee the financial management of the organisation reporting to the Managing Director.
- Lead and mentor a team of 5, responsible for finance and administration.
- Production of monthly management accounts and insightful reporting.
- Work collaboratively with other functional heads to make informed commercial decisions and drive profitability.
- Manage year end audit.
- Drive system and process improvements to increase efficiency of the department.
To be successful in this role, the Financial Controller will have the following skills:
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience within the service sector and understanding of projects.
- Experience of SAP B1 beneficial.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Previous experience leading a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate strategically with a commercial mindset.
