Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a manufacturing plc based in Lancashire who are looking to bring in a new Group Financial Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has gone through continuous growth and looking to bring in a strong calibre individual who can help drive strategy and change across a strong commercial and transactional function. This role will work closely with the board of directors and report directly to a high calibre CFO.
A key role within the senior management team, leading the Group finance function, including group reporting, management reporting, tax, treasury, and financial planning.
Responsible for the implementation of appropriate policies, procedures, and processes to ensure an effective control environment; providing key strategic information to the leadership team to inform decision making; and generating insight to drive business performance.

Key Accountabilities
- Ownership and development of the Group finance function
- Maintain, challenge, and strengthen financial processes and controls across the Group
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of management information to the leadership team
- Encourage a partnering mindset through the team to support internal decision making
- Review the consolidation of monthly results and the monthly Board reports
- Consolidation and reporting of Group budgets and forecasts
- Treasury management, including multi-currency FX and hedging strategies
- Cash management including robust cash forecasting and covenant compliance
- External reporting, including management of reporting to lenders, and other key stakeholders
- Leading, coaching and developing the finance team
