Finance Director

THE COMPANY

The company is a growing mid size £multi-million commodities trading business that operates globally and has experienced substantial growth in recent years. The company is ambitious for continued expansion and are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Finance Director to support and work alongside management to further develop and grow the organisation. Based north west London.

THE POSITION
Working alongside management and reporting to the CEO, the Finance Director will support the growth of the business and manage the finance area.
Key elements include analytics and business information, development of systems and processes to support growth and business partnering management.
Responsibilities include:

• Strategic planning, financial and business analysis, financial modelling
• Management of the finance team and financial control
• Monthly management reporting, budgeting, cashflow
• Liaison with trading, operations and management
• Presentation of reports and management information and analysis
• Development of systems and new systems, processes and internal controls to support growth
• Liaison with third parties including banks and professional advisers

THE CANDIDATE
Candidates should be qualified with several years' experience in a lead finance position and ideally experience supporting company growth. Strong experience of financial and business analysis and systems development and improvement are required. Experience of FX, international and trading/commodities would be advantageous, albeit not critical. Candidates should be ambitious, strong in communication and presentation with the gravitas to lead the finance function in a growth company and business partner management.
The salary banding advertised is a guideline, the remuneration offered will be commensurate upon experience.
