We have an exciting opportunity available as a Director or Associate Director of Drug Product Development, a senior position liaising between the commercial/ business development team and R&D to ensure that timelines and milestones are hit. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Drug Product professional to step into a senior position working cross functionally across the business.
Responsibilities
Lead the Project Management team, motivating and developing team members in line with business goals.
Build, manage and nurture relationships with clients. Advocate for client needs onsite, leveraging support as required to ensure issues are handled, escalated and resolved to client satisfaction
Organise and prioritise team workload in line with client expectations and company performance targets. Align priorities with all impacted functions
Partner with Business Development and technical functions to manage the incoming pipeline of new opportunities. Generate accurate and competitive quotations delivered to client scope and timeline expectations. Support the negotiation process on incoming new projects. Encourage repeat business and manage scope expansions/Change Orders on live projects.
Facilitate the introduction of new clients to site. Host due diligence visits and site tours.
Manage Project management covering all live Project Development projects from start to end
Manage revenue and sales forecasting processes and ensure client project milestones are invoiced to support achievement of Project Development revenue targets.
Collaborate with Process Chemistry on optimisation of quotation and project management practices to deliver seamless client experience for integrated / flow through projects
Promote company services by participating in marketing initiatives including webinars, attending relevant industry events and management of internal marketing collateral
Participate and contribute to leadership team, pro–actively driving continuous improvement and business expansion initiatives.
Requirements
Multi–year experience in Drug Product Development service provision area.
Strong Project Management experience
Experience in client facing roles
Knowledge of GMP, regulatory aspects and pharmaceutical regulations
Business Development acumen and ability to interact extensively with customers at a senior level
People management, planning and organisational skills
