There are now two equivalent Director of College Administration roles available at UAL. One will be based at the College of Central St Martins and will be based at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges.
Working closely with the Pro Vice–Chancellor/Head of College, the Director of College Administration is responsible for the provision of high level strategic and policy advice, for the effective and efficient use of resources, and the overseeing of operations in the College in relation to the College s strategic and academic priorities.
Strategic thinking and strong operational delivery ability will certainly be important as you lead professional services here at Central Saint Martins. But what will really make the difference is your way with people. From the collaborative relationships you forge with senior staff, to the inspirational approach you take to leading and developing people, you ll be recognised for your organisational abilities, enthusiasm and expertise.

Your profile
You will have extensive experience of leading administration and operational delivery in a complex environment, preferably but not essentially, in a higher education environment.
Thinking ahead while making a difference in the here and now, you ll drive forward Central Saint Martins or Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon s strategic vision while maintaining outstanding operational delivery. You ll be instrumental to ensuring positive experiences for staff and students alike. Our most senior leaders will rely on your leadership and guidance for the effective and efficient use of resources in this high–profile role. You will ensure professional services and the people who deliver them keep moving forward by developing and communicating service expectations, operating models, values and behaviours – and you ll do it all at a challenging but exciting time in the higher education sector.
Whether your senior management experience is in the education or another sector, you ll bring to the role a considerable track record – managing resources, operations and budgets, and leading and developing high performing teams. Highly organised, strategic and methodical, you are also flexible, calm and resilient.
