Interim Finance Director

FD Recruit is partnering a rapidly growing, service sector SME based in Runcorn to appoint an interim FD for 3-6 months during a permanent recruitment process. This is likely to be a fixed term contract, we can consider limited company contractors but the role will fall inside IR35. It would suit an experienced FD or FC who has been the number one in finance and is able to hit the ground running. This role will also have responsibility for supply chain/operations and therefore requires the ability to see the bigger picture and oversee warehousing and procurement.

The interim Finance Director will have the following responsibilities:

· Responsibility for the production of quarterly management accounts and reporting to parent company.
· Monthly analysis of income streams and costs then identifying opportunities and risks.
· Develop and monitor KPI's and assess performance.
· Drive and implement the budget and forecasting process.
· Monitor and ensure tight control of expenditure and drive cost improvements.
· Monitor cash flow and other financial transactions.
· Identify and implement improvements to reporting, systems and processes.
· Manage and mentor a team of 8 full time staff across finance and supply chain.

To be successful in this role the Finance Director will have the following:

· CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.
· Strong systems experience. Any experience of Navision beneficial.
· Service sector experience beneficial.
· Mindset of continuous improvement.
· Capable of working with both finance and non-finance colleagues.

The salary advertised for this role is a guideline, the salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
