Finance Manager

Finance Manager – Hybrid working – Central London – Up to GBP65,000 plus benefits

My client, a global training company with operations in Central London, is looking to recruit a Finance Manager for one of their divisional offices offering hybrid working. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an award winning business. Managing a team of two, the successful candidate will be responsible for the statutory reporting and developing the financial accounts team.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the audits and be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts for all group companies. Acting as the key point of contact for external and internal auditors and ensuring the quality and timely filing of accounts
• Finance lead for US group financial reporting, ensuring all deadlines and group polices are adhered to.
• Oversight of the treasury function ensuring strong control and cash flow management
• Ownership of intercompany invoicing and balances
• Preparation of group VAT and corporation tax reporting
• Ensuring strong control is adhered to and evidenced within the financial month end close procedure
• Key contact for Sox's controls and documentation
• Managing the quarterly Sox's testing and documentation
• Working as the Finance business partner for key commercial areas and cost centres of the business
• Provide support for forecasting, variance analysis and acting as Finance team for modelling and costing exercises

Key skills:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Previous Audit and tax experience
• Experience of team management is preferable
• Strong communication skills
