T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of a highly successful division of a global organisation who have an opportunity for a Head of Credit Control UK & Europe. As a senior member of the Global Working Capital leadership team, you will lead and inspire the credit control teams across the UK and European business units to deliver and exceed cash collections targets.

  • Interim – 6 months
  • Hybrid/Remote

As Head of Credit Control UK & Europe your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver on or exceed cash targets for the UK & Europe core and acquired business, including clearance of legacy debtors
  • Lead the user adoption and maximising of the use of Sidetrade augmented cash collection tool by credit controllers and deliver the reductions in DSO and additional cash collections per the business case.
  • Continually review and update key performance indicators and relevant reporting to evidence and delivery of cash collections and reduced debtors o/s and DSO
  • Identify areas for focus/improvement including removing inefficient processes and tasks, working with colleagues across Finance
  • Own the creation process of the annual and quarterly cash targets in conjunction with the working capital director and operations manager
  • Maintain the controls and governance processes, ensuring our credit control function is tightly governed and adhering to normal industry credit control and finance standards and protocols, including our off–shore teams

To be successful as Head of Credit Control UK & Europe you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Results driven with the ability to inspire and motivate others to deliver high performance, ensuring interactions with our clients are professional and effective.
  • A structured approach to organising communications across the UK/Europe credit control teams and remote colleagues to maximise opportunities and outputs.
  • Able to establish and build strong relationships with internal adjusting colleagues, working capital owners and external parties where necessary to achieve cash collections targets
  • Experienced in managing performance of individuals and motivating a team to deliver high performance
  • Experience influencing remote teams in a similar role or generally within the insurance and financial service market
  • Good understanding of the commercial and London insurance market, with a specific focus on the Claims operations and working capital requirements
  • Excellent people management skills and a desire to develop staff to deliver high performance
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent but not essential.
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment
