My client, a leading supplier of technology, is currently recruiting for a Senior People Business Partner to join the team for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will be offered hybrid (typically 2 days a week in office), with a GBP5400 car allowance, perm benefits and a 10% bonus opportunity. This role could be in London, Oxfordshire or the East Midlands with occasional expensed travel to the other sites.

It s an exciting time to join this organisation as they embark on a 5 year growth plan with their people and culture at the heart of this plan.

You will be part of the people and culture team, reporting to the Group Chief People Officer, with a dotted line into the Managing Director, and working with the board of Directors to achieve the strategic objectives that will enable the business to grow.

The Role

Your primary aim will be to help to drive a strategic people plan based around culture, talent, capability, and reward, ensuring employee experience is at the centre of everything that they do to enable them to be a great place to work. Working with the MD and the board of Director s to shape and develop a talent strategy to attract people with the capabilities they need for now and in the future, by providing people with career development opportunities, by building leaders who deliver on their people and business aspiration and by ensuring that they have right talent structures in place to develop high potential and leadership people pipelines will be critical to success.

About you

You will be highly strategic and have an analytical and inquisitive mindset. You will be adept at driving change, partnering with senior stakeholders and at understanding how to influence decisions at a high level. You will have the commercial acumen to create a people plan that adds true value to the business.

You must have worked in and feel comfortable in a matrix environment and understand how to proactively form relationships across all areas of the People agenda, as well as the wider business. A resilient and tenacious outlook to the role and team is essential and you will need to be at ease in dealing with a sometimes–ambiguous environment

You will be passionate about creating a great employee experience and you will ensure that their people are at the heart of everything they do. You will be equally passionate about doing the right thing for their customers, ensuring that they bring them into all of the people decisions that they make.
