Lawyer
Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in Leicestershire, which is in need of an experienced Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their team.
Role: Commercial Contracts and Procurement Solicitor
Location: Leicestershire, hybrid working
Contract Length: 4 months ongoing, part time (14 hours a week)
Rate of Pay: GBP40– GBP45ph umbrella
The Role:
Provide effective and efficient legal advice to the Council, partners and external customers to the highest standard
Draft legislation on various different Commercial Contracts matters
Deal with caseloads on Commercial Contracts matters from start to completion
To assist with the investigation of complaints relating to Commercial Contracts matters
To contribute to the positive and well managed running of the Council's legal teamThe Person:
Someone with a minimum of 3 years PQE in Commercial Contracts Law
Someone with at least 3 years of experience working within a Local Authority
Someone with current, hands on experience of drafting legislation
Someone who is self–motivated and is able to operate in an isolated manner
