Overview of job

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic, driven and fast–paced Brand Marketing team. You ll be responsible for building and growing some of the UK s most successful radio brands – Capital, Capital XTRA, Capital Dance, Radio X & Global Player

In the first few months, you would have:
  • An excellent understanding of Capital, Radio X & Global Player brand health & previous campaign performance, being the guide of the brands in marketing
  • Prioritised out a marketing plan for Capital, Radio X & Global Player, showcasing growth opportunities to be delivered by marketing
  • Delivered some brilliant work – as a business we adapt quickly. This will give you the opportunity to get some great work out
  • Understood the data & insights for all your brands and started to plot out growth opportunities
  • Earned the trust of the team – Your Brand Marketing colleagues and those you work with across the business, should be excited to work with you
Responsibilities of the role

Campaign management:

  • Developing marketing plans for Capital, Radio X & Global Player
  • Creative ideation & delivery of all paid for campaigns across Capital & Radio X brands
  • Planning, buying and optimising media (online & offline) across Capital, Radio X & Global Player
  • Reporting on Campaign performance
Brand management:
  • Brand development & brand management across Capital, Radio X & Global Player brand
  • Creation of partnership & event visual identities, creative assets & delivery across Capital & Radio X brands
  • Supervising brand health and seeking opportunities for growth
Team & collaborators:
  • You will need to get the best out of your team, in a fast–paced environment
  • You will be the go–to person on your brands from a marketing perspective
  • As a senior member of the Brand Marketing team, we want you to make suggestions on how we can do things better and drive the business forward
What you will need

The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:

  • A highly autonomous, creative, innovative, inventive and solution–orientated person, with the ability to run multiple projects
  • Consistent record of turning data and insight into action
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, often to tight deadlines
  • People management experience
  • Experience in a B2C marketing team
  • Successfully selling in ideas to colleagues and senior partners (both internal and external)
  • Proven track record of developing and running campaigns in partnership with internal and external partners
  • An outstanding communicator and project manager who can garner respect, trust and influence throughout the business
  • Commercially astute and numerate with a clear understanding of how our business makes money and the role marketing plays within this
