Electronics Systems Engineer

Electronics Systems Engineer required for my client based near to Warrington.

The successful engineer will be in charge of the design and development of electro–mechanical systems, control systems and supporting technologies.

Electronics Systems Engineer Position Overview

Develop electronic and electrical solutions, including systems–level schematic design, circuit level design, component selection and PCB schematic capture and layout.
Prepare parts lists / bills of materials.
Work closely with the mechanical designers on particular projects.
Review, improve and consolidate existing designs for cost effective manufacturing across full product range
Maintain new and existing electrical and electronic schematics.
Design, conduct and report on experiments where necessary to support design decisions.
Develop and perform test procedures and peripherals for new designs.
Provide technical support to clients.
Produce documentation to support equipment assembly, operation, and maintenance to meet applicable standards.
Coordinate subcontractors for manufacturing components.

Electronics Systems Engineer Position Requirements

Degree level qualification or equivalent in Electronic or Computer Systems Engineering
In depth knowledge of low voltage electrical and electronic technologies.
Experience in circuit design, PCB design, both digital and analogue.
Experience with microcontrollers.
Familiarity with basic communications protocols and standards RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, UART.
Confident use of laboratory equipment for debugging purposes.
Knowledge of common CE standards.
Programming in C/C++.
Experience with Microsoft Visio and Ki CAD.
Commutable distance away from Warrington.
Full UK Driving License.

Electronics Systems Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary – GBP32,000 to GBP38,000 – dependent upon experience.
Full time position.
22 days holiday plus the 8 statutory / bank holiday days.
Company Pension Scheme.
