We are currently seeking a HR Junior Business Partner to support the Senior HR Manager in the delivery of a high–class HR function. The successful candidate will take end to end ownership and responsibility for managing the day–to–day HR responsibilities in particular the recruitment cycle.

Reports To: Senior HR Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Overseeing the recruitment, selection and the onboarding process – full life cycle of recruitment

* Managing the company's appraisal system and supporting appraisal meetings where necessary

* Ensuring that the company's procedures comply with employment regulations

* Monitoring various aspects of an employee's performance, such as attendance and sick leave

* Accessing the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs accordingly

* Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances

* Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee perks and benefits

* Create and maintain accurate employee records within the HR system

* Assist the Senior HR manager with any ad hoc projects as required

* Provide support to the Senior HR Manager regarding full employee benefits package

* Communicate with key stakeholders to develop a sustainable recruitment strategy

* Complete a thorough research into our competitors and marketplace

* Define job descriptions and document job specifications.

* Identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels (LinkedIn recruiter, Jobsite, website).

* Conduct confidential interviews.

* Follow–up references

* Present shortlisted candidates to key stakeholders and advise on best recruitment practices

* Present detailed candidate profile summaries.

EXPERIENCE

1. The ideal candidate will have had HR experience with a good all–round/ generalist HR exposure with experience in recruitment at all levels as well as the ability to support Managers.

2. CIPD level 3 qualified and working to level 5

3. Take ownership and apply knowledge as and where necessary

4. Keep up to date with changes in the external environment

5. Apply sound judgement and initiative to projects.

6. Good knowledge of HR policy and processes.

7. Good social awareness and high degree of confidentiality, with solid ethics and morals

8. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalise ideas

9. The ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts
