Band 8a Head of Health and Safety
We are looking for a hard working and dedicated Head of Health & Safety and Security to lead on our continued drive for promoting safe services for our staff and patients.
The post holder will have to be an experienced Health and Safety professional, who is NEBOSH qualified preferably to diploma level. A minimum of NEBOSH Health & Safety and Fire Safety is required for this role with a good knowledge of Security Management in a large complex organisation preferably holding an LSMS qualification. The role will lead on general Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Security Management in a large complex organisation. Therefore, it is important that the post holder has sufficient competencies in these areas for this role.
Working alongside team members throughout area the Head of Health, Safety and Security will contribute to the development of policies and standards, write organisational reports, develop and implement audit and inspection programmes on a risk based approach, design and manage improvement plans, complete site risk assessments including FRA's, investigate accidents and incidents, deliver training such as fire warden and advise in general Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Security at all levels of the organisation.
This is a bank position preferably full–time role based in Woking with flexible working available. Due to the nature of this role frequent travel will be required.
